Angelina Jolie censored all interviews and banned FOX News from the red carpet premiere of her new film, A Mighty Heart, which ironically is about the freedom of press. All the journalists who wanted to have a chance of speaking to Angelina Jolie on the premiere were made to sign an agreement with quite a few restrictions. Some of the restrictions were...

Do not ask her any “personal relationship” questions
The interview may only be used to promote the movie
The interview will not disparage Jolie
If any rules are broken, the interview tape will not be released

However, USA Today and the Associated Press both declined to be involved in the interviews under such restrictions. As a result, Fox News reports that Angelina Jolie decided to terminate any and all print interviews after she heard the reaction from USA Today and AP. Fox News also reports that Angelina Jolie had asked Paramount Pictures publicists to ban Fox News Channel from the premiere, though Paramount did intervene to allow a Fox camera crew to cover the event.

Meanwhile, the movie she was promoting is about what happens when the freedom of the press is infringed upon, and the premiere was sponsored by Reporters Without Borders.

FOX News is surely not very happy about the incident. This is what they had to say...

Jessica Simpson and her on-again off-again boyfriend John Mayer are having fights. John Mayer was at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood on Monday, and according to witnesses, was ready to relax by the pool until Jessica Simpson called up. They had a long fight over the phone at the end of which Mayer asked her to stop trying to communicate with him. Here's an excerpt from Celebrity Babylon...

John Mayer, 29, was yelling into his phone with his head down outside by the pool on Monday morning, June 11. Says the hotel guest, "He said 'Jess' a bunch of times, so I would think he was talking to Jessica Simpson. He looked wiped out, circles under his eyes, and some pal was grabbing him coffee while he was having this fight over the phone. There was a lot I couldn't hear, but at the end before he hung up, he told her to stop calling, stop texting, stop all of it -- leave me alone! He was shaking his head back and forth like, 'God, make her stop,' and his friend was sort of chuckling at him." Jessica Simpson,26, is shamelessly chasing her on-again off-again boyfriend John Mayer, and it looks like he's finally telling her "enough!"

Paris Hilton Released - Sent Back Again

The national obsession with celebrity collided head-on with the more serious issue of the equal application of justice on Friday, as a judge sent the socialite Paris Hilton back to jail some 36 hours after she was released for an unspecified medical problem. However, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer was calm but apparently irked by Sheriff Lee Baca's decision to release Hilton three days into her sentence due to an unspecified "medical condition."

I at no time condoned the actions of the sheriff and at no time told him I approved the actions...At no time did I approve the defendant being released from custody to her home.

Hilton, 26, wearing no makeup and with her hair disheveled, sobbed and screamed, "Mom, this isn't right," as she was taken from the packed courtroom by deputies.

Akon Throws Kid Off Stage - Being Investigated

Akon seems to be making a lot of news lately with his bold concert stunts. A footage leaked onto the Internet recently showing Akon toss a young male into the crowd during a concert. And this video has led the Fishkill, New York police to investigate into the matter. However, it seemed to be a stunt because no one really looked concerned in the video.

Check out the video of an object being thrown at Akon as he talks to the crowd. Once a young male is identified as the culprit, Akon orders his security to bring him onstage. The crowd cheers as Akon removes his shirt, lifts the boy like a WWF wrestler and tosses him off the stage into the crowd. There is no word as to if this was a stunt or if the boy was injured.

Akon recently got into some trouble for his on stage sexual performance which included a 14-year-old girl in Trinidad. As a result he lost his endorsement deal with Verizon. During the April 12 concert in Trinidad, Akon announced a “dance contest” that featured a grand-prize trip to Africa. Danah Alleyne, the 15-year-old daughter of a pastor, won the “contest” – but the prize was not a trip to Africa. Akon announced that he was “Africa,” and proceeded to simulate multiple sexual positions with the girl as the crowd cheered.

Alleyne apologized in public last month after a local TV station aired the footage.

Paris Hilton Already In Jail

The Hilton babe surprises us again. The 26-year-old celebrity hotel heiress waited until just after 11:30 p.m. on June 3 to check into a Southern California detention center, where she will serve approximately three weeks for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

The heiress worked the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday afternoon, then traded her strapless designer gown for a jail-issue jumpsuit and a solitary cell. Hilton surrendered to sheriff's deputies after making a surprise Sunday afternoon appearance at the MTV Movie Awards. She was booked, fingerprinted, photographed and medically screened, before being given a standard-issue jumpsuit at the Century Regional Detention Facility, an all-women's jail in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood.The sheriff's department online booking site shows a projected release date of June 26.

Before turning in she spoke to the media and said

I am trying to be strong right now...I'm ready to face my sentence. Even though this is a really hard time, I have my family, my friends and my fans to support me, and that's really helpful.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore described Hilton as helpful, focused, and cooperative, said she does not presently have a cellmate. Hilton's booking photo showed the heiress wearing what appeared to be a V-neck shirt, eye makeup and lip gloss that highlighted a slight smile. Her long blond hair was draped over one shoulder. After checking in, Hilton was given her first meal: cereal, bread and juice.

She will be housed in the “special needs” unit of the 13-year-old jail, separate from most of its 2,200 inmates. The unit contains 12 two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates. Hilton's cell has two bunks, a table, a sink, a toilet and a small window.

Like other inmates in that unit, Hilton will take her meals in her cell and will be allowed outside the 12-foot-by-8-foot space for at least an hour each day to shower, watch TV in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone. No cell phones or BlackBerrys are permitted in the facility, even for visitors.

The jail, a two-story concrete building next to train tracks and beneath a bustling freeway, has been an all-female facility since March 2006. It's located in an industrial area about 12 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. She has already spent one night in jail...22 nights remaining!

Paris Hilton Accused Of Plagiarism

It's just not going right for the millionaire hotel-heiress, Paris Hilton. It's the week she goes to jail, and there's a new scandal spreading. Music websites are now reporting that the pop princess and her song writing team are being sued for plagiarism over her debut single Stars are Blind.

The Sparta Florida Music Group are saying that parts of the song were lifted from the UB40 classic Kingston Town. Sparta Florida are claiming breach of copyright and they intend to use evidence from a musicologist and internet articles to prove their case. Last week Warner Bros. commented,

We are not expecting any new Paris Hilton material in the foreseeable future.

However, Paris is not being dropped off the label immediately.

More bad new? Well, an inmate, Susannah Johnson, who was released on Saturday said, Paris Hilton needs to watch out as inmates were really angry at Paris, because she will receive special treatment . Officers were making room for the starlet at the expense of other inmates. The jail has only 2,200 beds and it is already crowded. She really seems to have invited more than she can handle this time.

After Lindsay Lohan's arrest last week for DUI, it's time for her ex-boyfriend and soccer legend George Best's son Calum Best. Calum was recently filmed in a cocaine orgy with two hookers. He was filmed preparing and snorting "lines" of the Class A drug and engaging in different sexual activities with the two prostitutes. It's shown that he even snorted a line off the body of one of the girls.

She was arrested for crashing into a tree on Saturday morning in a drunken state. Moreover, some usable amount of Cocaine was recovered from her car.

That didn't, however, stop the party animal from her regular mis-adventures. She was caught drunk and almost passed out on Sunday morning in a car along with her rumored "lesbian lover" Samantha Ronson.

Welcome back to American Idol. Well, at least one last time this year maybe! And no, I'm not trying to merely ride the hangovers to get some more visitors. I honestly feel that this years' Idol was not, probably as great as the previous ones, but were surely full of interesting moments. Moments that undoubtedly created ripples amongst the netizens. And I believe at the end of it all, I should take a brief walk down the memory lane and remember things that I'll carry on to the next season of the great reality talent hunt!

First of all, American Idol Season 6 created ripples with quite a few scandals. Starting off with the gorgeous Alaina Alexander, who made an early exit. She posed nude and it spread like a bonfire! Talking of nude Idol babes, I can't without mentioning Antonella Barba. Her nude and wild partying photos created much hullabaloo shooting up not only the TRP of the show, but also almost doubling up the visitors to all the blogs and websites which even mentioned her name. American Idol or not, she's surely become a star! What next? Playboy maybe...!

American Idol Season 6 could not have been without Sanjaya Malakar! His weird hairdo, strange singing and gush of enthusiasm almost made him the Idol. Well, I said almost!! He has probably raised more controversy than the babes who posed nude! I even came across a video where a young girl had declared hunger-strike until Sanjaya was voted out! Wow, thats what I call repulsive Idol!

The best part is, even a contestant who could not make it to the top 24 has been in news! Yes, I'm talking about Sanjaya's sexy sister, Shyamali Malakar! The multi-talented, controversial, 11-time Emmy Award-winning American talk show host, television personality, comedienne, film, television and stage actress, Rosie O'Donnell will no longer be appearing in the ABC talk show, The View. Rosie O'Donnell was granted an early release from her contract, likely due to the latest heated exchange with Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday.

It ended an interesting eight-month tenure for O'Donnell that lifted the show's ratings but no doubt caused heartburn for show creator Barbara Walters. O'Donnell feuded with Donald Trump and frequently had tense exchanges with the more conservative Hasselbeck.

O'Donnell said last month she would be leaving because she could not agree to a new contract with ABC executives.

The verdict is out. Another season of the American Idol has ended, with Jordin Sparks becoming the youngest Idol in the show's history. The seventeen year old from Glendale, AZ became the sixth American Idol beating the only other contestant Blake Lewis. Jordin Sparks, the daughter of a former National Football League player, Phillippi Sparks, started singing as a toddler and auditioned for American Idol as soon as she could, after becoming eligible at the age of 16.

The two finalists embraced after host Ryan Seacrest announced the winner of the sixth season of the contest, with Sparks, dressed in a long, flowing gold gown, having difficulty catching her breath.

The star-studded event included performances by Gwen Stefani, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight and Green Day. Prince, Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder and Mary J. Blige have also appeared on the show.

The Grand Finale also saw a record 74 million votes for the episode.

Spider Man 3 - The Mistakes

As Spider Man 3 continues to top the U.S. and U.K. box office charts for a second consecutive week, the verdicts of the movie having plenty of mistakes are out. The members of MovieMistake.com have figured out almost 20 mistakes in the superhero's third installment of big-screen outing. These mistakes range from continuity issues to plot holes to factual errors. Some of them, as posted in MovieMistake.com are...

Plot hole: Flint Marco has his whole body turned into sand including his belt buckle and any other metal he happens to be wearing. If all of this turned into sand then why was the locket fine without it turning into sand as well?

Factual error: During the fight scene with Sandman in the armor car, the Terminal Tower can be seen in the background, which is a landmark in Cleveland, Ohio (where the scene was shot), not in New York city.

Continuity: The stickers on the board in J.J. office change from when Peter first goes in and when Eddie and Peter leave.

Other: When the police officer throws the tarp from the top of the sand truck, the entire tarp falls off. Yes, this had to work to sell the sequence, but there is no way someone could lift the entire tarp off of that long truck, especially at the angle and the force with with he drew the tarp. Look closely, you can tell that a wire connected to the middle of the tarp was used to lift it from the truck bed and was deleted digitally later.

Plot hole: During the "runaway crane" incident, Spider-Man comes to save the crane driver and stop the crane. Gwen is being knocked out of a building, he saves her and then swings off, never at all stopping the crane, or saving the driver.

Continuity: When Peter and MJ are on the bridge, in the shot where MJ walks away, Pater's hand holding the wedding ring remains up by his face. In the next shot, the long shot where Peter is seen entirely in the frame, his hand is down by his side.

Continuity: When Peter meets Mary Jane backstage after her first performance, her hands continue to move on and off of Peter's shoulders between shots.

Continuity: In the scene where Harry is lying in the hospital bed, his shirt is open enough that you can see his nipple. There is a cut to Peter who speaks, and when the camera goes back to Harry, his nipple is covered up.

Continuity: When Spider-man is in the bell tower, removing the symbiote, it's raining and dark outside. At the same time Eddie Brock is in the church down below and praying. You can see out of the front door of the church and it is bright and sunny outside. Similarly, every stained glass window is lit up. How can they be lit up if it is dark outside?

Continuity: In the scene where Peter goes to tell his aunt he is going to marry MJ, she is serving him tea and goes to get milk out of the fridge. It happens fast, but if you watch, she actually pulls Tropicana Orange juice out, then the next shot, she is shown pouring milk for the tea, there is no orange juice on the table or any need for it in tea.

Continuity: During the scene on the bridge where MJ breaks up with Peter, MJ's hair is tied behind her head with a few wisps hanging down and her ears visible whenever she is shown from behind. However, whenever MJ is shown in her own close-up during the same conversation, her hair is down loosely and her ears are completely covered up.

Plot hole: When Flint Marco is walking downing the street just after turning into Sandman, two cops notice him and give chase. He runs behind a truck and disappears. When the cops get there, there are 5 or 6 people walking by. From their point of view they would of seen where he went, but no one seems dumbfounded or shocked that a man just turned to sand and slid into the back of a truck. The tarp on the truck was tied down on all sides, so he couldn't have jumped in as a man.

Continuity: When Venom is choking Spider-Man and the Sandman is punching him as a giant, Spider-Man's mask is cut and under his eye that is exposed, there is so little mask that it is about to snap. Later in the same scene, there is a lot more mask there.

Continuity: At the end of the movie MJ is holding onto Harry's hand with both of her hands. There's a quick cut back to a view from farther away. Peter and Harry are in the same positions, but one of MJ's hands has instantly moved down around Harry's chest.

Continuity: When Peter goes to Harry's house to fight him, between shots, Peter's hair moves from over his eyes to the side.

Continuity: The first time Peter is out and about as black Spidey, Eddie Brock runs up behind him and raises his camera. We then cut instantly to a shot of just Eddie, and he no longer has his camera raised, with no time to move it between shots.

Revealing: When the sand man is in the truck of sand and the cop climbs up to catch him, you can see the edge of a platform uncovered. The platform is clearly there so the cop could walk without sinking - he stops right where the platform ends.

Continuity: During the battle among Venom, Sandman and Spider-Man, we see a news reporter with an English accent. She is narrating the fight, standing to the immediate right of her cameraman, who is pointing his camera skyward, at the fight. The reporter begins voicing her concern over the outcome. There is a cut to a TV showing the news report, where we see her finish her thought. Except we see a head-shot of her, and not the shot of the battle we should be seeing, considering the positioning of the camera.

Continuity: In the scene where Gwen sees Peter in the restaurant she places one hand on his shoulder. The camera cuts to Gwen's face and she has both hands clasped together in the shot. The shot cuts back out and her hand is instantly down on Peter's shoulder. It cuts back to Gwen one more time and both of her hands are back up near her face.

Continuity: There are several scenes in the film where Peter's 'Spider-Man' costume can be seen sticking out from the top of his shirt, both the 'normal' red/blue version and the black symbiote version. The spider chest-emblem is visible in each of these scenes, but the emblem is smaller and much farther up the front of the costume, almost near his neck. Invariably, whenever he switches into full 'Spider-Man' costume, the emblem has reverted to its original much-larger size and is much farther down the front of his chest, level with his pecs.

Hey everybody, I am so excited to share with you guys that I've adopted a little boy. He was born two weeks ago. His name is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and manager). We are enjoying some very private family time. Just wanted you to be the first to know.

Sheryl's representative said that the baby was born in America and that the 45 year old singer would be taking some time off. Well it's definitely time for her to sing a different tune, lullaby!

American Idol Update : Down To Three

American Idol is down to three with LaKisha Jones, the favorite sure-fire finalist bidding adieu on Wednesday. Jones spoke Thursday morning with WJBK-TV in Detroit, telling an interviewer that she is looking forward to pursuing a recording career and eventually moving into a new home.

With her departure, American Idol is down to it's final three contestants, Blake Lewis, Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle. Jones said she wasn't surprised, especially after judge Simon Cowell predicted moments earlier that she was going home.

I thought, `Yep he's right. This is it. This is where it's going to end.' I kind of figured that me and Blake would be in the bottom. I just thought, `You know what? OK, my time is up.

Paired with Blake Lewis in the bottom two, Jones had little chance of overcoming the fan base of the last remaining guy in the competition. Her last performance where she sang "Stayin' Alive", a Bee Gees original released in 1977, proved to be ironic with her exit.

Paris Hilton is driving again. Just five days after hearing her sentence, yesterday she was photographed driving her blue Bentley in Hollywood again.

Paris was convicted by the Los Angeles Superior Court for driving her Bentley with a suspended license and violating her parole. Paris Hilton's mother Kathy has sited the ruling by Judge Michael T. Sauer to be a "a joke". She further said...

According to the city attorney's office, Paris was pulled over on February 27 with a suspended license, a bad combination when paired with a probation for driving under the influence of alcohol. Elliot Mintz, Paris's publicist, claimed that Paris was unaware that her license was suspended.

Haley Scarnato has been voted out of the American Idol Season 6. The 24-year-old Texas native received the lowest number of votes on the April 11 edition of the popular U.S. televised talent show. Phil Stacey and Chris Richardson were the other two to be on the bottom.

The singer has been recreated as an animated heroine in Del Rey Manga's new comic book Avril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes, where her animated character appears to a teen called Hana, who is struggling to come to terms with her troubled life and avoid the temptations of a demon she met on the Internet.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's family has grown by a member today, when the celebrity couple adopted a three year old Vietnamese boy from Tam Binh orphanage outside Ho-Chi-Minh City. Angelina has named the boy Pax Thien ( Pax in Latin means peace and Thien in Vietnamese means sky ), which means "peaceful sky". Pax Thien joins the 5-year-old Maddox Chivan, who was adopted from Cambodia, the 2-year-old Zahara Marley, who was adopted from Ethiopia, and the ten-month-old Shiloh Nouvel, the biological daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Pax Thien and Angelina Jolie could be home, starting their lives together, by the weekend.
